Key Ingredients

There are obviously a wide variety of ingredients to the millions of recipes out there, but I find that with a few key ingredients, you can always prepare a yummy dish of whatever meats or vegetables you may have lying around in your kitchen.  They are these:

-Extra Virgin Olive Oil

-Kosher Salt


With these three ingredients you can dress anything up and make it tasty.  Got some lettuce and tomato in the fridge?  Toss them with the three ingredients for a refreshing salad.  Got some chicken breast or pork chop lying around?  Marinate in a little lemon juice and salt and then sautee in olive oil.  Cualiflower?  Put in a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and then squeeze the lemon over it and broil until tender.  Not only are all of these ideas delicious, but they are quick, easy and healthful.

Keep these three ingredients in your kitchen and you will always have a back up plan to whatever meal plans you have.
